Guildfords is Atlantic Canada’s leading insulation contractor. Guildford’s was founded in 1906 and has been in continuous operation in Atlantic Canada since that time. We’ve built a tradition of quality for over 100 years in Atlantic Canada and we are the Atlantic Region’s largest insulation contracting company. Guildfords provides thermal, fire and acoustical insulation services to the commercial, industrial, marine and offshore sectors of Atlantic Canada. Utilizing union labour, we provide a wide range of insulation systems and services to our clients.
Guildfords has offices and facilities strategically located throughout the Atlantic Region in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. The company utilizes insulators affiliated with Local 116 Heat & Frost Insulators.

Rick Hopkins Rick Hopkins has 40 years experience with Guildfords as a journeyman insulator and supervisor in the Industrial, Marine and Commercial sectors and is certified in Asbestos removal. Rick is dependable and recognized as very skilled craftsman of the trade and lives in Mount Pearl. |
Dave Humber Journeyman Insulator and supervisor with 38 years with Guildfords, has worked at Industrial, Commercial, Marine insulation, and Asbestos Removal. Dave is also the employees representative on the JOSH committee. Dave currently lives in St John's. |
